Train, another convenient way to get to Manila.
There are lots of ways to get to Manila but aside from riding the Jeep, Bus, FX, or riding your private cars there's an easier way to travel. It's called Metro Rail Transit or LRT 1 and 2. It is more convenient for travelers to ride the train because it's air conditioned, the fare is cheap and it's faster. This would be highly recommended if you're going to Manila because going there with your own car or riding a cab would make you spend more. The MRT is along EDSA while the LRT 1 is from Baclaran to Monumento and the LRT 2 is from Recto to Santolan.

Calesa/Kalesa "A ride from the past"
Calesa was introduced to us by Spaniards. It was one of the modes of transportation during that time and was usually use for commerce. Back then only officials and ilustrados (educated) afford this kind of transportation. “Kutsero” is the driver of calesa. Nowadays the use of calesa is rare. It is just used for cultural background. We can find some Calesa in cultural heritages. This places are Manila, Vigan, Binondo and Intramuros.
